Some counties throughout Arizona are now distributing the H1N1 vaccine to the general public. To find out if it is available near you, please visit www.stopthespreadaz.org and click on the "county."

For the latest on seasonal flu vaccine clinic locations in your area, please visit www.cir.org. Some clinic locations may have both seasonal flu and H1N1 available.

What is 2009 H1N1 (swine flu)?
H1N1 (referred to as "swine flu" early on) is a new influenza virus. This new virus was first detected in the United States in April 2009. This virus is spread in much the same way that the regular seasonal influenza virus is spread.
